BackupStuff offers backup solutions for all major platforms

Mac Backup

Mac Viruses are out there, and so are unstable coffee mugs! Backup all your files while you are on the go, across multiple computers. Devices and hard drives can be backed up automatically to your local drive for free or subscribe to our online backup service at the signup page.

Mac users are fairly self managing. Using this backup software is an easy way to offload precious “IT manager time” while giving your Mac users the flexibility and control they crave. IT has the ability to say, “It’s easy — you can restore your own files”.

See our Downloads section for the Mac app, and manage your backups with your iPad, iPhone, or Android devices using the CrashPlan PROe app in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.

Doesn’t Apple offer a backup solution of its own?

Yes. Apple’s Time Machine feature is a popular personal backup approach. However, it is backup built for individual users, so it lacks many capabilities enterprises need: deduplication, reporting/alerts, security and continuous protection without tethers.

One organization that needed to overcome Time Machine’s limitations was Ohio State University’s mathematics department, which needed a scalable, enterprise-level alternative to Time Machine and expensive file servers that could accommodate Macs and other platforms. The department’s systems administrator used CrashPlan PROe to safely and fully back up Mac users. Since the solution seamlessly backs up all PCs — including Macs — in an integrated approach, all backup, archive and restore functionality is available equally to all users, regardless of PC platform or model.

Backing up your Windows PC desktop and laptop has never been easier. See our Downloads section for the Windows app.
